If you’ve seen our logo or cookie mix packaging around town, then you’ve likely noticed the little green guy hiding behind the cookies. That’s Wally—our official mascot for Karen’s Kosmic Cookies.

Standing a mere four and a quarter inches tall with bright lime green skin, neon blue freckles and one large eye, Wally is just one of many Gastronomers in the Crumb Cluster Galaxy. While most extraterrestrials are interested in world domination or advanced physics, Wally’s singular mission is much more relatable: the pursuit of the perfect chocolate chip cookie.

With strict instructions from The Council of the Great Palate, Wally arrived on Earth to source a fresh new dessert for their upcoming annual Feast of Sweets. However, he has since gone rogue. One sneaky bite of a freshly-baked Karen’s Kosmic Cookie turned into dozens of cookies mysteriously appearing to have small bites taken from them. Turns out, he hasn’t been collecting them for The Council, he has been eating them all himself!

Unable to resist the sweet vanilla aroma wafting through the air, Wally told The Council he needed more time on Earth, thusly becoming an otherworldly addition to our kitchen we couldn’t imagine not having around.

Wally’s infatuation for our cookies is the reason we decided to start the business; expanding from simply baking for friends and family to selling at local venues, and now reaching fans across the United States through this very website.

From taste-testing recipes to offering creative new flavor suggestions Wally has become an inspiring motivator—which is why we are proud to have his face on each and every package. He’s our symbol for creativity, imagination, and the loving appreciation for delicious homemade treats.
